First, you should explain why daddy does not know how to write. Afterwards you should give him up for adoption to a gay couple, believe me it's the best thing for the child.

Depends on their age, first of all. If they're like 8 or so then tell them not to worry about politics so early. They'll have the rest of their lives to worry about it. Other than that just tell them that all parties in politics love freedom or they wouldn't be practicing. Just bring them up to love their country regardless of political standings and with any luck you'll raise the best president this countries seen. Also let them know that freedom has a cost, it's a buck o five on everything.

First I would say that we live in Oregon, not the south. We don't use words like Paw.

Second I would tell him to read the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist papers and then the Constitution, you know those documents that made up the US and then have him read the PATRIOT ACT, the unwarranted wireless tapping, and the military commission act and ask him if that follows what the founding fathers had in mind.

Third I would tell him/her that I love him/her. Even if they disagree with me.

There cant possibly be any serious answers to a question that is not serious. Wouldn't life indeed be better for all Americans if this continual bashing based on political preferences be stopped.

Do Americans love freedom?

Hello!
Tell him," Not everyone in the world thinks the same way.
Some people listen to propeganda and take it at face value never thinking for themselves.
In this world you have to be an individual and look at both sides of the picture and come to your own conclusions.
Freedom comes with a price, no one likes war but if a country want to retain the freedom they enjoy there are times it has to be fought for.
As our fore fathers paid the price for.

Take care!
God Bless America!!

Tell them how important dissent is within a democratic society, and not to confuse dissent with self loathing. Also that being powerful at the cost of many innocent lives is not a good thing (and that libs feel that this is what's happening, whereas Conservatives don't).

They believe that they know what's best for you (doesn't matter what you believe) and that if they were in power controlling everyone's lives and the policies of this country, the world would be a better place. They also believe that those ends justify any means. If you love freedom and liberty, reject their tempting offers of a trouble free life.

First of all I'd make sure they get a good education and become more literate than their father. Next I'd make sure they get a well rounded view of what liberalism and conservatism really are. Watching FOX Noise is not the answer.

Tell them that Liberals are against the Patriot Act which is what the Republicans implemented and this takes away our God given rights and takes away our civil liberties.
