If your boyfriend called you from his own personal cell phone in Spain while you are in your own coverage area in the UK, then you won't receive any roaming charges. However, the calls and text messages you receive from him will still count towards your plan minutes and texts that you receive each month. You shouldn't occur any additional charges unless you go over.

You both are charged for the incoming and outgoing calls. It will use up your minutes and his minutes that are allotted. Mostly cell phone companies will give free weekend and mobile to mobile calls if you have the same cell phone company. It just depends on the company you are with.

NO! It just what your regular charge is. Now, if you call him, then you would pay International rates.
You can check with your Service Provider and ask what your charges be if you were to call him in UK. Also, rates are different for different countries.

I've got several friends from the UK that I speak with weekly and I've never been charged for an incoming international call. You could always check with your own provider tho.

It depends on your phone service. Your service might charge you, but I know that a lot of times it's free for the receiving end. You'll have to check your phone company for that one.

You get charged for receiving calls & voicemails. call 3 & have them change your voicemail mailbox off to maintain you funds! ;) you're never charged for receiving text cloth messages. i don't understand the place you're from, however the fees in EURO (in eire) for a voicemail is 99c & a decision is €a million.50 consistent with min consistent with call won.
