Yesterday, i came home too late and my mum called me "out of order." I was drunk and therefore responded by calling her a fat slag. My dad heard this and got angry - i asked him what he was going to do and he slapped me. I am 16
Advice?

Stop drinking! You're underage anyway! You were out of order and deserved everything you got, cheeky little scrote

Besides, I had beatings for a lot less when I was your age. So come back and complain where there's something worth complaining about.

You're 16 so you should not be out drinking but rather concentrating either on your education or on your first job. You deserved that slap - sorry but in real life going around calling people names will get you fired or expelled from school - you are obviously very ungrateful for what your parents have been able to give you. Now ask yourself a question. What do you want to be in 5 years time? because if you seriously want to get out of your life and do better than your parents (only reason why you would have called your mum a slag!) - you need to get yourself sorted and make the right decisions now. The next thing is to apologise to both your mom and your dad - its amazing but parents forgive this behaviour because no matter what you are their son, also by apologising it shows a high level of maturity from your side and earn you extra brownie points!

OK you came into the home as an underage drunk, this is not unusual these days, but you need to appear sober.

Calling your mom names is out of order, which I feel you already know othewise you wouldn't have offered this information.

Your dad shouldn't have slapped you, but I don't think you can really contest this considering the circumstances.

All I can advise is that you are more careful with your drunkeness in future. Just play as sober as you can. If you are too drunk, then admit it and apologise, tell them it won't happen again. Just keep them happy.

Having read all the previous answers, there's not much more for me to add.
I hope you didn't post this question hoping for sympathy - you were totally out of order, and you got what you deserved.
You ask for advice - I suggest the following:
1. Don't drink - or if you must, stay sober and in control of your faculties.
2. Respect your parents - you need them more than you think. Financially especially!. If they set a curfew, you stick to it. You're still technically a child at 16, no matter what you think.
3. Grow up. You may be almost an adult at 16, but you're behaving like a child.

This is all assuming of course, that this isn't a spoof question like the others you've posted, Sam, Tom, Percy, Mandeep, Antony...or whatever your name is.

let me ask you this. if some 16yr old who was drunk came up to your girlfriend and called her a fat slag what would you do? You need to sit down and talk to your parents. you need to apologise to your mum and tell your dad that you wont let him hit you again, because you were both in the wrong, he should not have hit you, but you should consider this a lesson, because if you are stupid enough to go out and get so drunk that you call your own mother that then you need to consider the fact that you might be stupid enough to go out and say it to someone who is much bigger and stronger than your dad and who probably will do more than slap you, he would probably beat the living daylights outta you!!! THINK before you act!!!

Get over it would be my advice.

You shouldn't be drinking, coming home late and calling your mom names.

You sound like a total brat to me, and if you can't handle getting a slap for when you're being a complete delinquent than maybe you should rethink your ways.

Psh. Your parents "beat" you? He slapped you, and you deserved it. Kids are too spoiled now a days.

But hopefully next time he won't "BEAT" you. Hopefully next time he'll just call the cops when you decide to go out and get drunk.

Um, let's see... you're 16... and you came home drinking ... that alone is out of order, then you call your mom a "fat slag" whatever that is (certainly sounds insulting, whatever it is) Of course your Dad got angry... so he slapped you... ONCE and you claim your "Parents Beat" you... my parents would've killed me! (Oh, I'm 16 also, btw) I have never had alcohol because ... um... let's see... it's ILLEGAL! Grow up... honestly... I mean it's bad enough to DRINK, but to drink to the point that you're DRUNK!!!!

I take it you were drunk because you found new ways to make money in your corner shop you just bought and you were celebrating ? not bad for a 16 yr old buying a thriving business !!! Most of the people on here are genuine and it is a shame they didnt see your other question or because i dont think they would be as concerned as thay are .

Beat you up? A bit melodramatic isn't it? Try thinking how your parents must feel. They brought you up and took care of you and you can't have a bit of respect for them and their house rules. If you were late you were in the wrong so your mum was right to say you were out of order. And your not proving yourself to be grown up by calling your Mum names. And you obviously can't handle your drink. Say sorry to your parents.

you have a load of growing up to do. you know very well why you had a smack.. you say it clearly yourself... you are 16, your were drunk and you were abusive.
Get your act together say sorry to your mum and stop getting drunk.
YOur parents obviously care a great deal for you or they wouldn't bother what state you come in.
Take care
