So....what are your thoughts on this new development?

Sounds fine to me. I can think of a lot of things I would be doing with that terminal instead of watching TV (which I don't do much of anyway.)

I think it sound good! Not only for the patient, but for family members who sit for endless hours watching someone sleep. That would have been nice to be able to email others with updates without leaving the room when my husband was in the hospital with heart problems.

Hey! I think this is a great innovation! Sounds good to me. Being in the hospital always makes me feel so displaced from the common day to day acoutrements I'm used to....it would seem to me this would even assist in healing as patients would be less stressed and more 'involved'.
