It's freakin' disgusting, especially when things like HP Sauce etc have already gone a similar way. Why won't staff stand up for themselves and protest?

A lot of Polish workers are apparently planning on moving back as the working conditions and wages over there have improved a lot.

I say good luck to them - the British economy is more about technology and innovation than manufacturing now.

Cadbury's is always moving positions from country to country. I think every country in the world think of this company as their own!

Who'll do the work ... probably imported 'Elbonian' labour!

Well....I'm hoping that the HUGE amount of polish imagrants in this country might see sense and move back. But to be logical, it's not going to happen. Cheap labour is key nowadays. Not sure if its a good thing for our coutry though.

The reason is cheaper labor, and higher profit margin. This is happening all over the world, with the industrialized nations outsourcing the work, all in the name of profit.

I for one is basically no longer buying from now on Cadburys products if i will help it. worry is, i'm unsure which products are theirs. i'm attempting to purchase basically honest commerce choc. from the Co-op. in case you haven't any longer tried it I strongly advise it and not basically on ethical grounds. that is totally reliable!

It's a subtle way of sending them back.
Poland is suffering a shortage in plumbers now, so they got an EEC grant to encourage migrant immigrants.
