People that know me know how much I love McDonalds.

Well today was my son's 9th birthday and he wanted Hungry Jacks (Burger King) for lunch.

I was shocked and horrified cause I would never have a love affair with another fast food chain.
I'm a loyal Maccas Lover.

But the bad thing was, that when I was eating that burger and stringing those fries in my mouth one by one...I'd have to say I was really enjoying it.

I feel so bad and feel that I have betrayed McDonalds.

Am I a cheater???

Man (or Woman) can not live by McDonald's alone....:D There is nothing wrong with having another burger....In fact I like Burger Kings whopper better then McD's burgers but I do need a big mac from time to time......then again there is a independent burger place close to where I live that makes the best burgers around.....their bacon avocado cheese burger is the best......mmmmm I may have to go get me one for lunch now......

Don't feel guilty. A lot of moms would have taken Jr. to Micky D's instead of BK thinking only of themselves. You sacrificed your desires for your sons happiness. You aren't a cheater, because you did it for altruistic reasons. Just go today and get a Big Mac in your mouth, savor that special sauce. You know you want it, McDonald will love it too. Don't forget to nibble the fries.

Just be glad you and your Son didn't get sick. I thought you were going to say something about the Hamburger Recall.
Glad you're Both Fine!
You'll get a Mac Attack but you can save your self by running down for a Burger and it will be alright!

LOL!!
I don't know about being a cheater to Macca's, but you bought a smile to my face after a long day!! :)

If it makes you feel better we had Macca's for tea tonight, which we have never done before.

It'll pass once you get over missing the clown and learn to live under the King's rule.

We all make mistakes. McD's will understand. You went there for your son after all. As parents, making sacrifices for our children comes with the territory. It'll be OK. Now go have a Big Mac and be healed.
