You need to be more specific and state the type of window. Wood or aluminium, casement, hopper or fixed.

Sure, but depends on what is causing the leak. I had a call back on a door installation, customer said rain was leaking around the door, turns out it was leaking at the roof and running down the wall, coming out by the door.

Could be a myriad of different things, only way to tell you is to look at the window.
