That would probably be one of the biggest swerves by the WWE, especially since Val has been used as a jobber lately. But Vince did say that "history would be made" with respect to the title and No Mercy. So you never know...it could happen.
Or perhaps the "history would be made" comment means he's going to give the championship to his illegitimate son, Hornswoggle! LOL!!!

Super Crazy should be Raws' World Champion! (J/K)
I'd like to see Val Venis get a push, give this guy some wins under his belt then give him the IC Title sometime down the road to see what kind of champion he can be in todays' world of wrestling.
I think the "history" part will be Ric Flair winning the World Championship and probably retiring as champion, leaving the title once again vacant ... ripe for a tournament.

lmao..i cant believe people actually voted for Venis to be next WWE champ..while he does have EXCELLENT MIC skills..hes got a new job for the business..so i was surprised that he even showed up on RAW Monday..but yeah..him being the WWE Champion is like saying Sting will join the WWE..it will NEVER happen..
