I'm not sure what had caused this problem, I've performed a disk check ,it seem fine. It worked flawlessly fast, I have a 2 gb ram.. Usually when it crash ,the following apps are running : iTUnes, Finder, Photoshop cs3, Adium ,Safari ..The song would eventually freeze and hang for a few seconds then the screen turned black then restarted.
I re-logged in to OS X and there seem to be no crash reporter dialog or anything, everything seem to be so fine and that the system did not notice anything. what's going on here?

You likely installed something that messed OS X up.
Try re-installing OS X. There's an option to back up all your data. All the instructions are on the Apple website.
