The egg comment is flawed. If cell phones use microwaves, of course they can cook an egg. Microwaves heat up the water in an object. And egg, which is cold, will eventually heat up and cook. A human body, however, is already at 98.6 degrees. A small amount of microwaves aren't going to raise that temperature anymore. It is the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics.

I don't believe the brain cancer story. There is radiation all around us that is harmless. Unless you are a 13 year old girl, nobody is going to be around a cell phone long enough to get brain cancer.

Because it is an assumption based on end results, not isolating causes. To make it real science you would need to say test 2 identical groups of lab rats, exposing one group to cell phone radiation, and not the other, but keeping them identical in all other ways, then see if there was a significant difference.
In other words, cancer can be caused by many factors some genetic and some environmental and so when a human dies of cancer, it is very hard to say, this is the one reason beyond all others.
This is why testing is done on animals or plants, because the scientists can ethically limit exposure, and isolate one factor and find if that factor was significant.

I'm sure they do cause cancer... as they can cook an egg in less than an hour! Here is a link to the original experiment:

(junk in = junk out => this is really just a hoax)

Cell phones vary in power output because of distance from tower and talking activity, thus exposure to the body varies, making a valid study difficult.
