Yes, Absolutely I have been disrespected by a "man". (Well he wasn't actually acting like a "MAN" at the time) But I forgave him years ago and I am over it.
I was 18 yrs old dating a 26 year old "man". He wanted to get married and was very serious it seems. We had the same views on most things and even attended the same church denomination. We spent everyday together. Right after he got off work we were together til he went home to go to sleep.
Without me even knowing there was anything wrong, One day he comes over and breaks up with me. The very next day my brother saw him with another girl. And they weren't just friends.
I felt very disrespected and ashamed of the way he treated me. I wouldn't have done that in junior high, much less an adult.
But I'm happily married now and going on 15 years and if it wasn't for that break-up I might have never known how wonderful my best friend was. And it was my best friend who I married.

Yes, my natural kindness and generosity has been taken advantage of by one man inparticular and after everything I had done for and given him he couldn't even take the time to talk to me when I needed him the most.
I showed him, told him where he could stick his friendship and watch a grown man break down in tears

yes my first husband never wonted my input on anything and he never let me make a decision on anything and he always yelled at me and told me how things were gonna be done and he beated me up all the time i stayed in the marriage too long but glad i got out of it ! he always put me down and called me names

I was in Catholic High School, on a crowded bus & a guy put his hand on my bare leg. I screamed & cursed, and he ran off the bus.
