you can check your m.o.t status by visiting www.motinfo.gov.uk or by telephone 0870 33 00 444, all you need is the registration number of your car its really easy, good luck hope this helps

If you do not have an mot how do you know it is due at the end of the month? You do not need to produce the last mot, the tester will ask for it,however just tell him you have just bought the car and there was not one with it hence that is why you are here.

You don't need the paper copy but you do need an MOT. the police can check you car on a data base to see if it has a current MOT cert ,if they need to. the MOT station do not require to see the one before, the new mot will start from when it is inspected regardless of previous mots.

nope just take it to a mot station pay the money
you only need an old ticket if there is some time left on it they will add that to your new one so you can have a mot for 1 year and a couple of weeks

You do not need a previous mot for your current test unless you want your new mot to expire at the same date as the old one

Nope - but for your own peace of mind I would go get one done this week, just to be sure and to have a paper copy should you need one!
