I swallowed a coin when i was 15. quite funny actually. My boyfriend was tickling me and my foot kicked a shelf on top of his bed and one of the many foreign coins i was collecting fell into my mouth. Automatically I swallowed.

I tried puking, pulling it out with two fingers... but in the end i gave up and my boyfriend called an ambulance.

The amblance people were having a laugh. I showed them what the coin might look like and they laughed and said "we'll keep that just in case you get hungry on the way to the hospital"

i had all kinds of jokes. My sister called up and said "I just wanted to call and see if there's any *CHANGE*"

And a woman whom i didn't know who worked in the hospital gave me a stuffed pig which i still treasure a year on :)

I also kept the coin as a souvinere (sp?) :D

On saturday!! Ouch!

I was playing rugby, went for a big hit and my finger bent so far back it exploded under the pressure. Not nice!

The nuckle on my index finger dislocated and came out of the inside of my finger. Had internal stitches to sow the capillaries up and 8 stitches outside to sow my finger back together.

Best part was my team won its 2nd round cup tie 3-0 after extra time & I didnt have to watch Wales lose to Fiji in the world cup because I was in surgery. Jackpot!!

Yesterday!
I was on Yahoo answers as usual when I got a call from school that my 5 year old had hurt his hand. Went to the school to discover he had a stone embedded in the heel of his palm! Needed a nurse to dig it out! Ouch! The things he does to get an afternoon off school!

when i was 17. my appendix was on its way out and almost burst!
got to the a&e and got in really surprisingly quick, then the doctors said i needed to have the appendix out asap coz if it bursts then i will most likely die. So i got all geared up for the op that night, only to be told that my operation had been put back to the next morning because of a drunk driver had been in an accident and needed my slot!

i could have died and all because of a drunk driver! still deteste drunk drivers to this day and im nearly 22!

I havent been since I was 8 and got hit by a car!
But I was in A&E in June, when my 6 year old son fell off a climbing frame and hit his head on concrete.
He was vomiting and I was scared shitless!
He's fine now though

Last night at work. I'm on the night engineering crew and the E/R nurse complained that it was too warm. I ran a temperature check and concluded she was having hot flashes.
