have you had any accidents? banged into something? what sort of work/hobbies do you do? are you over/under weight?
do you drink or smoke or both? how old are you? have you had this pain before?
basically all these questions would need answered for a more accurate assessment so you should go and see your gp. in the meantime, fi you are not allergic to it try taking ibuprofen (bruphen) you can get them in supermarkets, take 2 brufen with 2 paracetamol every 4-6hrs and see how that goes.

Well, I am not surprised you have knee pain if you have foot problems. If you are having foot problems then you are most likely compensating by changing how you walk and this, in turn, is affecting your natural gait which is affecting the proper alignment of your knee, causing your knee pain. And yes, having extra weight will cause trouble for both, but exercise is crucial for losing weight. You will find non-weight bearing or non-pounding exercises the best considering the pain you are having. Swimming, cycling (exercise bike), Stairmaster, the Elliptical are just a few suggestions. There is also Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi and other things you can do for exercise. Talk to your doctor or get a referral for a physical therapist from your doctor.

You should probably get this checked out, even if it turns out to be nothing, better to be on the safe side especially as it is effecting your breathing.
