With the poor showing of the Northern Hemisphere sides in the WC so far. Would it not be better to change the annual 6 or 3 nations so that more can benefit from each other. The winners of the 6 nations and triple crown falsely think they are tops in the world until they meet the tri nations and Argentina and then are subsequently disappointed with their performance.

you know what,i think the RWC should include 30 teams instead of 20,. This will encourage rugby in the smaller rugby playing nations like Hong Kong 2nd best in Asia after Japen, so they have more of a chance of getting in. And about the 6 nation merging with tri nations, i think the winner of both of them play each other, then the winner should go on and play the Worlds XV, then finally the Barbarians. It wold be fun to watch this if this is real.

no want. The tri-international locations communities excursion thousands. NZ would be traveling the homestead international locations on the top of the 300 and sixty 5 days and particular smashing the residing christ out of the poodle too if we get the prospect. The lions excursions are additionally a time-honored ability of combining it up between N and S. professional rugby has devalued the lions excursions adequate as is. (used to return all the way down to NZ for months at a time a play thousands of little communities). excursions must be approximately better than television funds and cents. How approximately taking part in the sport with young infants who incredibly play the sport, and doing it for unfastened? great 14 is an extremely distinctive interest to HC rugby. it could be a terrible interest to video show. A SANZAR traveling team corresponding to the Lions concept could be exciting, yet excursion arising international locations like u . s ., Canada, etc.

The perception in the SH is that the IRB is controlled by the home nations and they are doing a horrible job at running Rugby world wide so I doubt there would be any support for this format. The SH have gone ahead by leaps and bounds over the NH so a tournament that would primarily help the NH has no benefit for them.

Add to that the fact this tournament would take up a huge chunk of time (minimum 3-4 months) if you want to play everyone and it becomes impossible. New Zealand and Australia have Bledisloe cup games to schedule, the Pacific Islands need to get game time against tier 1 nations, players are playing February to October already.... it is just impossible.

They should have a Confederations Cup between Six Nations Champions and Tri Nations Winner.

I still think that the smaller nations should meet regularly to get regular match practise and get them ready for the next step up in competition.

I say leave as it is...........it is up to the NH teams to improve their skill and technique in line with the SH teams!

As for the winners of 6N and triple crown thinking they are top of the world, they do not, just top of that particular tournament.
The Autumn Internationals tell them who is best in the world!

As for suggestions that the RWC should be more often.....get real, what other sport has a World Cup less than every 4 years? It would be impossible and boring!

Well, I think if you did that, wouldn't you be turning it into a mini World cup? But I do think they should host the RWC a bit more often instead of every 4 years.

interesting idea but in reality it would never work
the clubs would not be interested in having an even bigger international compeptition taking their best players away for even longer
