Umm... they are all guys who didn't get the girl e.g. in charmed Cole was rejected by Pheobe for being evil, Spike fell for Buffy but she doesn't love him because she found him is some what evil and out of control, Sawyer is in a love triangle with Kate and Jack and Wolverine fell for Jean but didn't get her because she was committed to Scott her boyfriend (whom she loved too).
I can't really think of people who are like them...
