Well honey, that was when I was in the military though. I have been there for 10-and-a-half years to be exact and the fond memories of the trainings, friends and co-ordinations are still fresh in my mind though.

By the way, I just left the force 2 months ago due to health reasons though.

Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)

My fondest memory - WOW! HARD ONE

In 1997 - I moved out of my parents home. It was hard for my mother, i am the baby of the family and we are southern :)

She was very sad that i would not be home for thanksgiving, our families favorite holiday.

Without my parents knowing and with a little help from my brother, i arrived on my parents doorstep - just as they were sitting down to dinner.

When my mom heard the doorbell she said, "Lord, who could that be!"

She came to the door and burst into tears and said, "You're suppose to be in Florida!" I went in to find my father crying.

I since lost both my parents but it is that thanksgiving that i remember when i think of them. Surprised, thankful and loving.

What is yours?
