any card mate will work in your p.c as long as it
a)has the correct graphics interface i.e agp or pci-express
b)has the correct drivers installed
c)if a power supply is needed,a adequate psu is needed
the x1650 pro is a good mid range card and a good upgrade from the 6200,both have pixel and shader model 3.0 and both are direct x 9.0 compatible
one improvment on the x1650pro is its much improved clock speeds and memory speeds, and this is were the radeon model wins hands down
also the x1650 is a great media center card, with excellent dvd playback
good luck mate!

YES but on two conditions:
1. Your motherboard has x16 PCIe graphics slot
2. Your power supply's +12V rail is strong enough to power that 43 watt card.

The graphics slot does NOT distinguish between card brands. As long as you install the right driver, it should work.

As long as the card slot/interface is the same, for instance AGP 8x or PCI Express, however you may find your motherboard has both, in which case it won't matter. Remove your old card, uninstall drivers, plug in new card and install new drivers. Bingo, job done.

You must:
- uninstall the nVidia driver
- shutdown... (not restart)
- plug your ATI card
- power up computer and DISABLE nVidia from BIOS menu
- restart

(it's better to use driver-cleaner pro to remove all nVidia driver)

- when login to windows, install new ATI driver.

nVidia is customarily greater suitable than ATI. i do no longer understand who suggested that ATI replaced into "greater suitable on the rest" yet that's no longer authentic. ATi continues to be good, it is only that nVidia is customarily greater suitable.
