What you have is a "G-Body". The body panels do not interchange on the following but everything else does, including the windshield, on the SAME ERA Monte Carlo, Malibu, El Camino, Grand Prix, Cutlass 2-door, Regal, Bonneville and a few more I'm forgetting. The El Camino frame won't interchange. Though it's the same design, it's like 6 inches longer. Every frame has all the holes drilled for any engine combination availible at the time. If you have a V6 you can bolt in a V8 from a Monte Carlo using all the factory Monte mount's etc. no problem. 2wd S-10's have most of the same front suspension and all brake parts. Camaro and Firebird F-Body's, have the same lower control arms front and rear and the same steering gear boxes like the S-10. Even manual steering. Also, the front sway bar from an F-Body will bolt onto a G-Body. I've done it. I had an '84 Cutlass Supreme with Trans/Am spring's, quick ratio steering box and big fat hollow sway bar. Cargo coils on the rear and a Monte SS rear sway bar and Bilstein shocks. It cornered like crazy! I had a 305. It came with a V6.
