I haven't seen any pests as of yet..but I can hear them move under the floor and have absolutely no idea how to get rid of them.
Contacting the landlord is not going to easy..so I will have to solve this myself.

The flat is really clean and i cannot see any holes....how can I get under the floor boards? Or where should I put the poison/traps?

Get an plug-in mouse/rat scarer. It makes a noise like distressed vermin, that only they can hear, cost about £5. They DO work.

I wondered where they had gone to? ha ha!.
Let the mice come to you,you could not get down a mouse hole.
Mice. First of all look for droppings near food sources, (tiny black rice size )and at boxes with cereal for chew marks. These are the best signs of infestation not sounds.
If placing poisons, lay them close to skirting boards, inspect daily, and refill till poison is not taken.
Advise putting packets of dried food in oven.
Suggestion
I personally like spring-traps, if a rat/mice die under floor the stench is ugh! Bait the traps with Peanut Butter

the plug in sonic scarer will work if the vermin are nesting , if they are in and out it will not deter them.Try a good bait lots on the market. Go outside and look for all possible entry points eg. air bricks , holes where pipes pass outside. mice need a very small entry point.

Mice can get through really tiny holes, and it's quite a job to stop them all up. Professionals are best and it's worth the money, if the mice are bothering you.

Decon bait. Put out boxes, they eat it and die. No smell as it dehydrates them.
