Get some jumper cables, the thicker the wire inside the 'cable' the better! and you may as well get a set with 'diode protecion', think they are MOV's to be precise, where it prevents induced voltage spikes which can damage ya ecu and other good stuf like that.
First, connect the positive (red clamp) to the battery positive (+) post on the car being used to jump.
Next the other end ot the positive lead to your car battey being jump started.
Then the black lead onto the battery negaitive (-) post on the car being used to jump.
And finally connect the other end of the black lead to a good earth in the engine bay of the car your jumping, this prevents any arcing which occours when completing the jumpstart circuit (which could potentially blow up your battery!)
To jump start a really flat car, firstly connect the jumper lead as above, then start the car you using to jump start, run it for a couple of minutes first, before trying to jumpstart, this gives the slave battery a quick charge, then hold the revs about 2000rpm, then she shoud start!
good as

1. put in key in ignition
2. is the battery warning light on or off?
3. if on, move to step 5
4. if off, you have an alternator problem. jump staring is not the answer but a complete replacement of alternator. go to the local auto supply shop to get one.
5. does the car start? if yes, dont read anymore. if no, is your car on an incline or can it roll down freely or by somebody else pushing for a rolling start? if yes, go to step 13.
6. your battery may be drained. get a pair of jumper cables.
7. park a working car right beside your car (better if front-end to front-end so the distance between bateeries is close)
8. connect each end of the red jumper cable to the positive battery terminals of both cars. the positive terminal usually has a red marking or (on onlder cars) has a bigger wire connector
9. connect one end of the black jumper cable to the negative battery terminal of the working car and to any metal surface of your car.
10. start the other car.
11. let it run for a few minutes
12. try to start your own car.
13. rolling start. get in the car and put it in 1st or reverse gear. push the clutch pedal full. put the key in "on" position.
14. ask someone to push the car to get it to start rolling
15. once slightly faster than walking speed, quickly let go of the clutch pedal and simultaneously push the gas pedal full.

you have stated which you have not have been given a instruction manual transmission, so the only thank you to get your motor vehicle began is to have a bounce or positioned a charger on the battery. If the battery is greater suitable than 18 months old, you decide on a clean one. If that's greater moderen than that, probability is that's going to hold a charge as quickly as the vehicle has been began. If the battery is fairly new, you may get fortunate...bypass away it on my own for a pair of hours (do not attempt to commence it in any respect), and it could rebound adequate to tutor the engine over. yet once you may get someplace NOW, you will greater useful call a tow truck, or detect a buddy with jumper cables.

Always hook up the cables to the dead battery car first directly on the terminals. Connect the positive cable to the car that has the good battery positive terminal. Connect the negative cable to a good clean ground on the running car.
It's important never to hook up cables on a dead battery from a good battery. A spark will occur and a possible battery explosion may happen because the dead battery has sulfied gasses bleading out the vent holes on the dead or discharged battery

ok first of all black is negitive and red is positive so start the good car (the car that is actually running). place the black cable to the negative terminal on the dead car then same with the red cable... wait a few minutes then try starting the bad car it should kick over alright unless something else is the matter...but before doing this check the liquid level in the battery if its low boil tap water and then fill up itll keep the battery lasting longer

1.Point both cars towards each other on a flat surface
2.Make sure both cars are switched off
3.Connect one side of the first cable to the positive of the battery of the good car
4.Connect other side of the first cable to the positive of the battery of the flat car
5.Connect one side of the second cable to the negative of the battery of the good car
6.Connect other side of the second cable to a good solid shiny, non-painted metal part of the engine on the flat car.
7.Switch on the good car.
8.Try to Switch on the bad car
9.If successful, remove all the cables in reverse and then leave the flat car running for 20-30mins while the battery recharges.

from the car your pulling from put both positive and negative on and the car you are jumping put the positive on only and ground the negative somewhere on the car.If standard trans. you could always push start it by putting in the clutch, have into first gear, and when pushed fast enough, pop the clutch while still in gear.
