Got some large scratches on my drivers window, I am with the RAC. will i get it free to replace or do I have to put my excess down I think its £75?

You need to read your policy carefully. Some insurers will pay for scratch repairs at no cost to you, others won't. If it isn't repairable, you'll have to pay the excess applicable to your windscreen cover to have it replaced.

Car insurance normally covers glass, but you still have to pay the excess. Drop into Autoglass, let them have a look.

You will have to pay for a replacement window.

Where were you parked, guarded lot? out in general parking then.
