Most parks have signs that state their hours. It's illegal if they have the hours posted.

If you are over the limit and have the keys in your posession you can be done for drink-drive. Even if your car is in the car-park and you're sleeping on a park bench! You won't get done for that very often unless the Old Bill is looking for a reason to take you in, but if you're sleeping drunk in your car and have access to the keys you WILL be done for drink-drive. If you can't book an hotel or a taxi, skip the drink. It's the ONLY safe way.

this answer depends on various city/state laws. some states allow you to sleep in your car, if you are in designated rest stops. however, you can bet that if you are seen by a cop, in an unauthorized area, you will be awakened by the cop and questioned, your vehicle will be searched etc. maybe jailed for the night. best answer would be to sleep in your vehicle @ a campground. at least you will be safe.

Depends on the jurisdiction.

In some places it is OK if you need to sleep in order to drive safely. In others they may just lock you up, or ticket you.
