Usually a little veggie oil(cooking oil) or cooking spray,on a very soft cloth.put a little oil on the lens and leave it for a few minutes and then gently rub it off.WD40 also work but it might find it's way to the inside of the lens if you spray it on,so don't. spray a lil on a cloth and apply it that way. hope this helps

RUbbing alcohol can take it off sometimes.

That is all I would use on a cell phone camera lens.
it may damage the lens.
These things work also, but test the surface to be sure no damage.
Nail polish works if that doesn't.
worst case use gasoline.
Goo Gone is great too.
WD-40 also takes off a lot of sticky glue from tape like duct tape.

WD-40 willl work too... spray a little on a cloth and rub the adhesive until it's gone.

Diaper wipes. I swear by these things. They even remove oil paint from your hands and will clean up just about anything.
