I'm seeing my boyfriend for the first time in 8 months in a few weeks time. I'm flying into MCO and I was wondering what is a good spot to meet up at in the airport. Easy for him to get to and easy for both of us to find.

As the other answer said, the atrium area is a good place to meat, one of the most popular areas as well. It as close as someone can get to meeting you, since after that point you need to go through security. You could tell him to meet you in front of one of the stores, i.e. Disney or Sea World.
Another option would be at baggage claim. If you have any checked luggage, this may be the way to go, so you can get your luggage and get out of there to enjoy your vacation. This is the area where towncar drivers would meet you, so it is another popular area for you to meet up as well. He can actually check online prior to going to the airport (or once he is there) to find out which one your planes luggage will be on.
Either of these options would work pretty well.

The easiest way to pick up people from the Orlando airport is to have them go to their baggage claim, get their bags, and then walk out the door closest to their baggage claim. Have them look up at the ceiling and call you on their cell with the nearest number they see on the illuminated in the ceiling. Then you can drive up to the pickup area, and drive right to that number.
If the number is 1-19, they are in Terminal A. If it s 20 or above, they are in Terminal B.
This way works well because if they end up in the wrong exit by accident, you know exactly where they are and can find them.

Right outside of security in the main Atrium. There is a Disney Store, a Universal Store, lots of chairs, and seats all in that area.
It is very open and a great place for lovers to meet and embrace once you get off the tram and walk past security.

He could meet you in the luggage carousel for your flight. Not much chance of missing each other there, and you have to go there anyway to get your stuff.
