the mice are going to play. While the cat's away the mice will play means when supervisors are away, the children will play loudly.

Have a real run on this house. We have 3 cats and I am always finding them with mice and they sit in a circle and toss the mouse back and forth and play with it. It is so comical. I am so thankful for these cats. :o)

Normally they would play but it would be smarter if they built some kind of defensive force field so that when the cat returns, they are always safe. They would need a brave soldier to constantly search for food, however.

Since everyone else is still trying to build a better mouse trap they probably want a better cat trap.
This is always a good time for their construction of it.
