I have a 99 Hyundai Elantra that the airbag light stays on. My hubby is no mechanic and has no idea how to fix this. Is this something that we can fix? Or do I need to take this to the dealership? I was thinking could it be the fuse? I have not had an accident in this car. Anyone know anything about this?

You may have a defective sensor in the circuit. It may be still covered under warranty. But do get it fixed, as the air bag may not function in a wreck with the malfunction.

good luck.
