Ouch!!! That's a lot of overly big words for what can be such a simple matter. For one I think your question is a little too broad, and it sounds like you're trying to write a paper. My suggestion is, boil away the high faluttin mumbo jumbo. And ask instead why so many people insisit on making these things so much harder than they have to be. Proper object of our intellectual knowledge....how do you objectify or even quantify the whole of human knowledge??!

An interesting lesson and excersize. I shall look at the list negatively and identify which definitive descriptions step beyond universalities limit for its purpose:

Universals are:
-the first principles. (not first and not not first)
-the fundamental constituents. (essential parts for a thing, for that kind of thing those constitients fundamental are universal for that things kind)
-the units of thought. (a kind of unit for a kind of thought)
-the objects of knowledge. (kinds of thing identified as a kind of things is object for knowledge, not 'the objects for knowledge')
-the primary object of the intellect. (it is not first it is not not first)
-the direct objects of the intellect. (is 'direct'' used here as a synonym for 'immediate', if yes then universals may be both immediate objects and mediated objects for and of the intellect)
-the substances of particulars. (fundamental constituents)
-the key elements shared by all. (essence of being is universal for being, are they for non-beings? No.)
-the precondition of all law. (and of its purpose)
-the idea or thought of an object that physically exists. (indeterminant description)
-the principal predicates or principal names or principal spirits in the plane of Absolute spirit. (I shall need to research that)
-the constituents of individuals. (-the substances of particulars. (fundamental constituents))

-the ultimate object of study in natural sciences. (the first object of its kind, not the last)
-the cornerstones of logical arguments. (possible)
-the original objects of cognition. (when)
-the principles of Universal Grammar (universals of Universal Grammar).
-the qualities of individual things, or particulars. (yes as identification for its kind)
-the real invariants or patterns in the world apprehended by the specific sciences. (and unreal invariants)
-the commonalities in different particulars. (different particulars with something in common as that something as universal in them but may not be of natures purpose generally but natures purpose as my purpose; I am of nature)

-the features by which we recognize, reidentify, and thus are able to classify individuals, (yes)
-the proper object of our intellectual knowledge. (for our intellectual knowledge they are proper, not 'the proper')
