i dont think you should get a manicure that often. Cuz they cut your cuticle and that could cause infection. And you should let your nails n cuticle rest after you've remove the first one.

I think it really depends on a few things:
1. Let's say you are a receptionist at the front desk and you
are representative of their image, thus needing to look
professional and polished (pardon the pun) , then I say
get a manicure on a weekly basis.
2. If your job doesn't involve how your hands look, then get
a manicure whenever you think you deserve a treat, and
just as long as you can afford it.
3. If you spend your days gardening or anything else having
an impact on your nails on a regular basis, then I would
save my money and time by getting a manicure for only
special occasions, e.g. birthday, anniversary, party,
vacation, wedding, prom, first date ... and so on !
See you at the salon !!

I've been told by my manicurist, that a regular manicure (done on natural nails) can be done as often as necessary, but once a week is adequate. Close attention should be paid to artificial nails, such as acrylics and gels. Once the artificial nail begins growing away from the cuticle area, or bed, it's important to see your manicurist for a fill. The same holds true for damage to artificial nails. If dampness is allowed to form between the artificial and real nail, the danger of fungus increases. Artificial nails should be professionally removed, allowing the natural nail to 'breathe' and recover, at least once every nine to twelve months.

Once a week or every other week. It depends on how quickly your nails grow & the polish lasts.
You can extend the life of a professional manicure by applying a thin layer of clear top coat every 3 days. Applying cuticle oil or hand lotion helps keep cuticles tidy & prevents hang nails.
Do not let a nail tech cut into the live cuticle. Cuticles should be soften & pushed back only. It's okay to trim off hang nails.

Experts, who work at beauty salons seem to suggest that their customers should get manicures every 2 weeks.
So according to experts, smart customers get manicures one or more times, every 2 weeks.
--I would ask the experts---
Q: How often should people get manicures? Every 2 weeks? Pedicures- every 4 weeks?
A: (: I recommend to my clients every 2 weeks for manicures and every 4-6wks for pedicures. But I will ...

You shouldn't have to.
It's just for your own pleasure.
Without a manicure,
make sure you take care of your nails and
make sure your nails are clean.

It's unnecessary and a waste of money.
Seriously, who cares if you have polished nails? Do you think guys look at a girl and say "wow she has really nice toe nails!"
Spend your money on other things.
