The Simpsons. They stay on the story line without so many distrating "side-trips" in the dialogue for the story.

I tend to find Family Guy very random, and quite funnier than The Simpsons. But the stories on The Simpsons seem to be better, and more thought out.

Family Guy, but without the Simpsons - cartoon comedy would never have evolved to the incredible level of Family Guy.
