No. Because obviously that's all that is necessary to say. What about the ones where you require a simple answer and someone gives you 3 to 7 paragraph answers. Like, what they have to say is so important and will make a difference.

Yes, but sometimes certain questions only call for a one word answers ... either that or some people aren't as long-winded or descriptive as others.

Yes but not as much as questions that only require the use of a dictionary. Those 'What does xxx mean?' questions could have been answered on dictionary.com by the time they typed the question.

No. Sometimes one word is all I need. I prefer it to a rambler who uses lots of words but doesn't say anything.

it depends on the question, doesn't it? some questions ask for a yes or no answer, unlike yours, which asked for a reason.
