math help!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Question

sanitary landfill takes $35/ton of material (you need to deposit 1 ton of carbose, 0.29 tons of sand)

hazardous waste landfill takes $2000/ton (you need to deposit 0.14 tons benzoic acid)

whats the total cost to deposit everything?? please help!!

(1+ 0.29) * 35 = $ 45.15

2nd landfill total cost = 0.14*2000 = $ 280

total cost of both = 280 + 45.15 = $ 325.15

1.29 X $35 = $45.15 (for sanitary landfill)

0.14 X $2000 = $280 (for hazardous waste landfill)

Add the 2 amounts: $45.15 + $280 = $325.15
