No. I've never turned my back on anyone. Yet. Despite what they may have done. But i have, however, have had people turn their backs on me. While its sad, and it hurts, oh well i suppose, it's their loss.
I figure, if a person can't stand by me when things are rough, then they were never my friend, and will definitley never be again when things get better. It'll be: I'm sorry, who are you? What was your name again? Sorry, I don't know you.

(okay, that's how i am now towards some people i used to be close with, but then again if it's been like 8 years and they never once even tried to contact me, though they did contact everyone else who had things going good for them, then it's like, "um... why would i want to know you? [them]. who are you to me?")

It sounds rather cynical but oh well, i'm cynical presently.

Yes. A friend I had in HS. I wish I could go back and change what I did to her...it's been 20 years and I still feel regret.

NOPE, I was trying to help and be there for my so called friend. Just when I thought my boyfriend and I were being supportive, helping her deal with her break up, and both myself and my boyfriend called her she moved in for the kill, thank goodness my boyfriend realized that his calling and being friendly was being looked at as more and stopped and told me what my "FRIEND" was up to. Lets just say she is ALONE now friendless and boy-friendless and I don't regret it. Friends aren't friends when you cant trust them

Yes. When I was in high school, I had a friend who went out with the guy who was supposed to be my prom date.

I refused to be her friend, and didn't go to her high school graduation.

If I had it to do over again, I would've forgiven her, and been there to support her for her graduation, since she was a foster child and had no family members to go and see her get her diploma. :-(

Sometimes. But I made a choice and I stand by that choice. I have let go of friendships that were toxic but sometimes I do wonder if they were fixable... who knows. Who knows...
