I heard this is Heath Ledger portraying The Joker in The Dark Knight but it doesnt really resemble him and its the only picture like it....if it is Heath Ledger and it is from the Dark KNight, than I give them kudos...because this is a truly sinister representation of The Joker

That is not Heath. That is a photo a fan photoshopped before Heath Ledger signed on to play the Joker in "The Dark Knight." That photo is of Conrad Veidt in "The Man Who Laughs," but the fan has added the Joker coloring as that was a black and white movie. His character in that film did however inspire Bill Finger and Bob Kane when they created the Joker in 1940.

I don't trust any photo not release officially by WB. I read that no one really knows what is a real image because photoshop is just too good to know for sure.
I get so tired of studios wanting to keep everything so "top secret". I want details...

it is the shot so far released of the Joker and word is Keith is playing him.
