I've always heard take warm salty water and put in a syringe. Shoot it up your nose into your nasal cavities. It will cure sinus problems.

I know a bunch, but I don't know which is best for you. I use the Similasin sinus Spray, which is homeopathic. I have used, and sometimes still use, warm salt water up my nose. It's uncomfortable and a hassle.
Using the spray often at first, I found that after some time, my problems were going away. I have had some bad sinus problems for about twenty years, so finding something safe and effective was great. I used to get anti-biotics and prescription stuff all too often and I never had clear sinuses very long.

the previous answer is right but sounds like a lot of work to me. here are a couple of helpful suggestions. i used to get horrible sinus infetions. i started taking Guaifenesin when it was cold or sinus season and haven't had to take an antibiotic for a sinus infection since. the brand name over the counter of Guaifenesin is mucinex. aslo eucalyptus oil is great to help clear the sinuses. if you can't find just eucalyptus oil get some vicks. smell it several times a day even when you get over this it has great healing powers. if you can get your sinus to drain you may not need an antibiotic to clear this up. hope you get to feeling better.

The best solution for sinus problems I have found is using a neti pot.

This is a small pot that resembles a teapot. You fill it with warm salt water and pour it into one nostril and let it flow out the other. Do both sides. It literally is a natural, mechanical solution to avoid popping all those allergy pills and such.

this may sound weird but my grandma swears that snorting a mixture of warm water and salt up your nose helps clear your sinuses. i like to boil water and let the steam go into my head. that works for me. but sometimes i get to the point where i have to go get an antibiotic.

Switching from mucus generating dairy products and red meat to soy milk and white meat helps. Fish is better than chicken.

Taking 4 high strength 3,000 mg garlic oil capsules a day also helps.

I put some Eucalyptus oil on a rag and hold it over my face and breath deep. If you can do this in a hot shower and get some steam, it helps a lot.

what is diagnosed as 'sinus' is often a reaction to somebody close to you. if a family member is a constant source of irritation, one gets 'sinus'. this is the philosophy in Reiki.
