There is a reason why the NHL left Quebec and Winnipeg.
They will never be back in those cities.
I just cant see them putting a team in Hamilton, even though it makes the most sense.
Bettman is all about us markets so I would think someplace like Milwaukee or Cleveland would be good bets. Also Portland OR or Seatlle might not be a bad thought either.
Has to be a cold weather city.

You believe the misinformed media. Like the NHL teams in Ottawa, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh all previously rumoured to move, the Preds are going nowhere. They have some long-term lease at their arena which would be a MAJOR headache to break. The NHL is committed to Nashville no matter what you hear.
Look, those fans deserve better. They do support the team. By the logic going around, we should relocate Boston, Chicago and the Islanders who draw far worse.

They should just fold the team instead of moving it. Just gotta find a 2nd team to even out the conferences.
People are crazy saying they need to be in Winnipeg, Quebec City, Kansas City, or Hartford. Those cities all had teams and lost them because they were losing money. Sure the Canadian ones will sell seats but they still didn't make money.
If you have to move it send them to Seattle. Its bigger than all of them except maybe KC. Its near Vancouver so they would have a nearby rival yet far enough away and across a border so they wouldn't be stealing too many fans.

Hamilton. There's an owner willing to assume debt and do what it takes to make a winner, an existing arena, a huge untapped market tv market and it could happen in 60 days time. No other move would offer as much or go off as well.

Someplace in Canada would be ideal for the Predators. The NHL's experiment of placing franchises in the US sunbelt has been a disaster.

I'd really like to see a team go back to Winnipeg but I want it to be the Coyotes that go there.
Basically, if Nashville can't stay where they are, then I'd like to see them in Canada somewhere.
