The 2000 Trans Am with a 5.7 liter comes with a different radiator than what you've got in your V6 Firebird. Take measurements of the radiator that's in the car now, and when you go to replace it, call around your local auto parts retailer and see if they have one in stock for a T/A. If they do, then measure the radiator from the T/A against the measurements on your V6 radiator, and you may be able to get V8 cooling for your V6 Firebird. Look for the ones that come with a lifetime warranty and plan on spending $170-$200.

Howe Racing enterprises, Art's Radiator Shop, Griffin Radiators. These places can build exact replacement aluminum radiators with as many rows of cooling passages you want. You'll need a separate transmission cooler with any of these radiators as there is no trans. cooling pocket in the right side expansion tank.

You know what? You don't need any of the above as any auto parts store or radiator shop can order a new one with an added row of cooling coils.
