I love the sound of wind-chimes, so, unless they're huge chimes and it's a really windy night .. it wouldn't bother me. :)

In a way, you're kind of lucky. I do hate those things. HOWEVER, I live in the country. Extremely close in the State's third largest city, to it's biggest city zoo. And a big, well traveled highway. Wind chimes would be the cherry on the shake, for surround sound. What's really funny, you get use to it. I think wind chimes are really annoying. I still have neighbors. I'm in Springfield, Mo.

my grandmothers neighbor hangs windchimes on her porch. honestly, it's not annoying at all. but, i'm not over there 24/7.

Oh please say no!!! I have beautiful chimes on my porch that were a mothers day gift carted secretly home from vacation because I said how much I liked their tones , hidden away for a month and surprised me to tears when presented to me. They are a cherished memory come to life when the wind blows.

My neighbors on either side of me have windchimes. They have some pretty ones, not those loud "bong bong" kind. I like theirs. So, it depends on what kind they have that it would annoy me.

Oh no...I used to BE that neighbor until last year we got our porch enclosed. I miss those chimes.... :(

Yes, very much...once they actually did and it was so annoying especially at night. Until they finally took them off.
