They use to be good at eatting them, but anymore, dinner time is a battle getting them to even take a bite or two. I've tried everything: having them help prepare them, giving them choices of healthy dipping sauces (i.e. peaunut butter, low-fat ranch, yougurt), letting them choose the veggie...etc. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hide them. Hide mashed cooked carrots (or any vegetable for that matter) in meatloaf, hamburgers, or spaghetti sauce. Carrot bread. Zucchini bread. Mashed cauliflower mixed into mashed potatoes. Corn baked into cornbread. My sister in law would puree vegetables into the lasagna sauce. Try V-8 splash, and before you say "gross!", I don't drink regular V-8, but this V-8 splash is great, more like fruit juice, and it is carrot-based, like regular V-8 is tomato based. If you're concerned about the sugar, the diet V-8 Splash is good, that is what I get. If they like orange juice, the orange flavor is good, the berry blend is excellent.

I give them a small portion- 5 peas, 2 carrot slices, a small brocoli or brussel sprout and they must eat it however they can or not get up from the table. I have 1 very stubborn child ( whom I adore for her ability to stick up for herself!) and she sat for 2 hours before she ate the peas. But she ate them and the next day admitted they were good but would be better warm! LOL

Punch them in the stomach then toss it down their throat. No, I'm kidding, I don't have kids. If you feed it alot to them at an early age I'm sure it helps them to be less fussy about it as they get older.

I don't force them but I asked them to try it. Just a small amount. If they don't like it I don't make them eat it. I have used cheese many times
