The skeletons in the closet are the things that shame you. They must be either hidden or revealed. And only revelation frees you.
Personal Demons are the evil within you. The things you fear, the things that want to kill your soul. Those you must either surrender to or fight. They can be beaten but never conquered. And some must be fought every day.
There's an old saying that a man is measured by his enemies.
The greater the enemies within and the greater the fight you make against them, the greater you become and the more you have to give the World.

If you ask me, I think that if you have some actual skeletons in your closet, you may really be a demon of some sorts... Or some kind of nut case. Are they complete skeletons? Maybe you can load the skeletons into a box and donate them to a local medical school where the students can put them back together like some kind of jigsaw puzzle.

Skeletons in your closet are secrets that can catch up to you and wreak havoc in your life. Personal demons are more like insecurities or things you wrestle with in your heart/mind. For example, you're obsessively worried sick that your husband will cheat on you because you are overweight...(not really, just hypothetical) and it causes you to behave differently than you normally would.
