Yes!!! When I was little, my parents let me make a whole roadway system under our back deck. It was awesome!

Yeah, my son was 2 yrs old. Had been throwing a sponge at my face and I was laughing. Trouble is he didn't know the difference between a sponge and a Tonka firetruck..broken nose and looked like a raccoon for a week ! Oh yeah, I remember well

I was never blessed to own any but I don't believe I remember ever hearing about that. I wasn't born when they first started making the toys but I was only about 4 or 5 when they changed their name from Mound Metalcraft to Tonka Toys INC.

The back of my head sure remembers! My brother had the blue steel dumptruck and got really angry with me and threw it at my head! I still have a little flat spot 38 years later!
