(1) it would be useful given that the questioner doesn't select best answer. they could easily find their answer and vote for it. (2) just trying to be friendly. that's about it. personally, i never end my answer in a name. just not my thing. i don't think they are crazy. but, it has crossed my mind wondering why they do it.

edit to add- wtf? someone else has my name. so, sad. haven't seen it on here. although, i know it's a common name.
