A marginally attractive, vacant woman whose only claim to fame is that an equally useless product of selective inbreeding thought she would produce pretty grandchildren for his Mommy, and that she didn't die of old age.
In other words, she had all the qualities necessary to make her a superstar in the minds of slobbering, emotional cripples who escape their dreary realities through visions of princesses in enchanted forrests, fairies and magic frogs.

According to her two sons, she was the best mother anyone can hope for.
That doesn't say enough, however.
These two princes are being groomed to say just so much, and no more.
So far, they are good examples of fine upbringing from Great Britain.
They no doubt will follow in the long tradition of royal appeasement of the masses.
We, the inquiring minds, want to know the motives behind what happened to the charming and dynamic Princess Diana.
Whenever an important persona emerges, it seems they are short lived and go by mysterious circumstances.
Sometimes it's better to live a humble existence than become famous for a brief moment.
Princes Diana left big shoes to fill, and nobody I can think of can replace them.
She will forever be the people's princess, and joins the ranks of the many luminaries we've come to adore.

Mixed up slightly unstable person who no one would have taken any notice of had she not been married to Charles. She manipulated the press and media for her own purposes. She may have been a good mother to her sons and that is it. I do not think she was particularly bright and she obviously could not cope with Royal life. Leave her in peace now. This inquest will not reveal anything new.

I never really gave much thought to her until her death. I think she was a remarkable person, she realized and set a wonderful example to the rest of the world what charity and goodness was. I read somewhere that she alone raised more money for charities than anybody else in the world has ever done. Now that says a whole lot about her without saying a word.

I think she was to young to marry Prince Charles, and ignorant of the workings of the royal family. I believe she loved Charles when she married him, and because of her looks he felt she would be "good stock" to produce an heir or two for him.
I also believe she was a tortured woman because of her insecurities and the fact her husband had a mistress who he flaunted before her. To the point of that witch attending the wedding and standing on a church pew to make sure she was seen by the bride and groom.
I feel badly for her and her son's now that she is gone.
And Charles..he got exactly what he wanted..ugly as she is..but he has his Camilla.

I think she accomplished a lot, considering that she was an unwanted third daughter and nothing much was expected of her. She wasn't really that well educated and never finished school. Still, I think she would have had a happier life if she hadn't married a man who didn't love her. That marriage was a mismatch from the start.

More hype than substance. Sad end to a mixed up lady.
Never ending investigations for a bad accident caused by over indulgence.

She was a beautiful woman. She truly was the "people's princess" I believe she was a little messed up emotionally, but I also believe that Charles and his mother had a lot to do with that!! I do believe that she was murdered.
