"is there a doubt that the patriots will take this season?"

to a reasonable sane person, yes there is doubt, but to patriots fans, no, no doubt

There is always some doubt about any team going all the way in a given season. There are always going to be injuries and adversity. How a team deals with and overcomes all that is the key to succeeding. Having said that, the Patriots are much improved from last season. They added to a very good defense by bringing in Adalius Thomas and had major upgrades at receiver with Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth and Wes Welker. As the announcers on ESPN said last night, the Patriots are the most complete football team in the league this year. They have as good a chance as anyone to go to and win the Super Bowl and a better chance than most.

The pats are good, no doubt, thanks to their spectacular recruiting capabilities...but I think that anything can happen...They've done well the past couple years, but you also see teams building up and strengthening that just might take them. I mean look at Dallas, and Indianapolis...and even Brett Favre is doing good things this year. Anything can happen. Oh yeah, and the colts had a bit of a rough start last year only because of attitude. Things went their way a few times as the game went on, their morale was lifted and they went on to show that they were indeed the very capable team that they had been showing fans all season.

I have doubt. I don't think they will take the season. They are on a roll for now. It will go away soon. Then they will fall. They can't remember every teams plays. Did you see how pissed off Brady got when he got sacked Sunday? They are not really as good as they think they are. And NO the Colts didn't get a bit too lucky, the plays were new and the Patriots didn't have a change to see them yet!

As if the Pats haven't ever gotten lucky. Don't forget the game that was played in a blizzard and the Pats won because of the weather.
Talk to me after the Patriots get by the Colts which is something they haven't been able to do lately.
Oh, by the way, no cheating!

Patriots may lose one game to either Dallas (not) or Indy (Colts are tough at home) and one meaningless game later...so i see 14-2 or 15-1 & home field advantage...a one sided win over ?(Titans, Jaguars, Broncos, Steelers or Ravens?) than a 10 point AFC Championship win over the Colts and a 21 point rout over the Cowboys in the Super Bowl.

Everyone keeps talking about the Patriots, but I don't see them winning it all this year. I have to go with the Colts in the American League.

No...They are locked and loaded...They took out the Chargers...again...Next big one is Dallas...I can't wait til they take care of the Cowboys...There are too many cocky Dallas fans on here who seem to be sure the Cowboys are headed to the Super Bowl......

...and then they will hopefully take out the Colts...It'll be a good game either way...
