I would quickly find a new "best friend". That is no friend.
Stay away from him. Repeat... STAY AWAY!

Wow awkward I had this really good guy friend He was the first guy I could actually talk to I almost considered him my best friend Unfortunately he thought I wanted to date him I admit it sometimes I would flirt a little He asked me out and I rejected him really badly automatically I felt so bad because he begged me After that I did not tell anybody till I left that school Our relationship froze everybody told us we would be a good couple cause we flirted a lot I was thinking of getting with him but one day this girl told us we could be a good couple and he said no way After that I never spoke to him again. I shouldn't have but It felt better than to see him. Your friendship seems strong work for it.

my friend was going out with this guy 4 ages........
we started a group & , everything was fine we were just mates whch was kool.
then i started 2 relized (deep down) i had feelings 4 him! =o
i told my friend (that's what friends do, tell each other the truth)
because we were friends she kept offering 2 dump him so i could go out with him! =o
i kept saying no...yet she didn't mind since their relli was slightly falling apart anyway...
(she understood, since we were friends & i told her the truth, she didn't mind 2 much, yet she was still upset a little)
If i found out the problem ur going through, i would do the same thng as my friend (saying she'll dump him 4 me was going a bit 2 far though!!!) because a true friend tells the truth.(u may fight though(i didn't) but it will pass if she's/he's a good friend, if she doesn't 4 give u, she's not worth being a friend) & remember, u might not get the guy anyway in future...
(true love does not exist)

I have had that happen to me and I never got over it. I am no longer best friends with either of them and there were some bad situations that arose out of it. You need to pray for guidance to do the right thing or maybe pray for the strength to do nothing.
Best wishes for a solution that you and everyone involved can live with.

You don`t need to stop liking him or her. You`re at a stage in life where you will be having deep feelings and crushes. These feelings and your response to them are natures way of prepairing you for a real love, when it does come along. Don`t follow the herd, make your own path, you`ll be happier for it.

Well you can't help who you like and who you don't like. (believe me) But maybe you should keep your feelings on the down low for a while (it may ruin the friendship)
Try and distance yourself from the person you like, and meet new people and possibly date the others.
If your feelings don't go away after a while maybe you should tell your friend.

don't stop liking someone just because your friends liked him first. But don't compete for him, just be cool about it and whatever happens happens. Don't freak at your friend, and don't feel bad, ur the one with the guy feel GLAD! LOL! bUT really don't worry it'll end up good ok; no worries.

STOP liking him. It may be hard.. but just do it. You seem young (?) which means they probably won't be going out forever.. maybe you can "like him" when they've been over for quite some time.
but for the time being.. stop. don't jeapordize a beautiful friendship.

Don't go there...nobody is worth destroying a friendship over and you aren't a true friend if you are doing this to your friend or if a friend is doing it to you. TRUST me this will only bring you more pain and a whole mess of problems.

You can't stop liking him, but you can remember that he's involved and shouldn't be taking any interest in you anyway.
Dramarama, get out of it asap.
Boys come and go, yer best friend is all you have in high school.
