Will India & Pakistan fight back ?

Question

The young players of both India & Pakistan have done well in the twenty20 world championship. Now both these teams are hosting two quality opponents at home.
India is facing Australia & Pakistan is hosting South Africa. At the moment Australia has an upperhand over India & South Africa has an upperhand over Pakistan in the test match.
Do you think that India & Pakistan will fight back in these matches.

Don't you think that it was the batsmen's fault that we couldn't chase 300+ target.
After twenty20,i really think that a 300+ score is not that tough to chase.
I am very sure that Australia will score a 300+ score in most of the games. May be even a 400+ score.
Indian batsmen should play positive cricket & they should always be ready to chase a big score.
Keeping wickets in hand is the key here.

For Pakistan, i would say that they should start preparing better wickets instead of flat batting beauties. This will give them a better chance to win the test series.

The main problem India faced in both the matches played against Australia is that they could not contain Australia in the midway through. upto about 30 overs India managed to contain the Australian batsmen. However, after that the bowlers failed miserably and Australia could put up a score of 300 plus in both the matches. Even after loss of early wickets, Australian Batsmen played catiously and built up partnerships and then went for aggressive strokes.

While India have cahsed the total in exces of 300 runs in the past, the way they played a Kochi, it was clear that they plahyed the game in T20 mode and did not have the patience to get set before going for the strokes.

I stronglhy feel that India can overcome these short-comings and come back strongly in the remaining matches.

As far as Pakistan-South Africa test matches are concerned, since test matches are entirely of different pattern it will be a difficult task for Pakistan to come back. however, they can still try hard and come back in the series.

Well done to both India and Pakistan in the 20/20 World Cup.
But I would never underestimate teams like Australia and South Africa. They are the top 2 teams in the world. As much as I love seeing Australia lose, they won't lose an entire series to India. As for South Africa , Pakistan hasn't beat them in a long time, not even in the 20/20 World Cup.

20/20 was a fast game and the innings came to an end b4 u realised it.

in 50/50, it is more of a mental game and that's where new zealanders, aussies, proteas have the edge.

the only reason aussies are the 4 time champs is because they are mentally very tough even though south asia is home to the most talent than everywhere else combined.

despite india and pak's good performance, i see the same old same old in the traditional game.

india beating australia is a tough ask, i really dont think they stand a chance, but they could maybe win 1 or 2 games out of the 7 matches.

It is the same problem.Inability to contain after after a good start while bowling and bad start while batting.While batting we either reach 300+ or fall somewhere around 200.
Dravid should have come in at the fall of Tendulkar's wicket to hold one end.While chasing Uthappa will always be useful at the end either before or after Dhoni.Rohit Sharma appears to be good in middle overs.He must be taken in soon.
