I would say most of us are still trying to find meaning, as we grow through life I believe sometimes we feel we do and sometimes we dont

The meaning of life for each individual changes all the time. As a child, life is all fun and games and there are no actual thoughts on the meaning of life. As a teenager, life is confusing and most people don't understand why they are here or where they are going. As an adult, life becomes a little more clear but so much more difficult because of the responsibility put on all of our shoulders. There is no exact meaning of life. We live every day to try and be happy. We do as all others do until our time comes to leave this world. If someone thinks they have found a meaning for their life, that is a beautiful thing for that person and they should follow it.

Feeling like life has a meaning comes and goes.
My life has had several times I would say it had meaning.
Several times I would say it had NO meaning.

My life had meaning when I went to kindergarten. My class was the first class. We were special. My life had meaning at age five.

At age nine I became a "bus student", we were made to feel we weren't as good as green slime. My life didn't feel like it had much meaning.

I received my Master's. Felt like meaning.

I was forced to resign the job I loved due to health issues. My life felt it had so little meaning, I attempted to end it.

I have days I think it does and days it doesn't.

I became aware of a meaning in life when I was four, five, six and seven and eight. At four, the meaning was that America should win WW II and save God's people from extinction and save America from possible bombing or being ruled by a foreign power that would forbid our language and religion and way of life. At six I learned about the need to know Christ as personal Savior in order to go to heaven in the next life and to let everyone know how to find Christ as Savior. At seven I began to find meaning in trying to become the very best person in my class at school. At eight, I learned about the battle for traditional values, about the need of the world to hear the gospel and about the need to fall in love and find a husband, although fulfillment of that was still a long ways off. Those were my main meanings in life, although the need to complete my education, and then to learn and grow through life-long learning later became important to me. Only in my later years did I come to the realization that I have accomplished many things in life but they don't amount to as much as I wish they did and I would like to still do something really important in life as my legacy.

Um, I don't remember the age exactly, but I know it was during a Homework assignment when I looked it up in the Dictionary.

At the moment I believe that my existence is an accident. I don't believe I have a purpose. I believe that many people believe in a GOD to give them a sense of purpose. And on top of that I think mankind created this belief in a GOD to help keep their sanity and the sanity of others. Because without a sense of purpose who, "honestly" who, would want to live (mankind would destroy itself). I think the earliest humans understood this possible effect, and created the being God to help insure mankind's survival.

It wasn't until I was 25 when I finally realized that it DIDN'T have meaning. Things are so much better now. Imagine how simple it all is: All we have to do is live and die. If we really want meaning, we can make it for ourselves. Otherwise, to seek true meaning in life is absurd.

I've always felt that life had a meaning. But i've also always known that meaning was different for each of us.
