I am a mother of 2 small children and no car because my husband always works. I have no other choice and on top of it, no babysitters. Anyway, I want one that is regionally accredited and that isn't anymore that 250 per credit hour. Anyone have any input or advice?

A number of state universities now offer at least some of their programs online. You would do far better to do that than to sign up with a commercial enterprise.

$250 per credit hour is considered insanely cheap amongst those who study distance education. Two that come to mind are Brigham Young University and Louisiana State University -- neither offers a degree online though, just classes. You could use credit earned at these to transfer into a program elsewhere.

American Military University http://www.amu.apus.edu/index.htm (you don't have to be in the military) is at $250 undergraduate and $275 graduate.

Peru State College in Nebraska is awesome at $157 undergraduate and they have a pretty nice selection of degrees online. http://www.peru.edu/online/index.htm

These are just a few options. Your local state university or local community college may have a pretty good deal too. All of these options are regionally accredited.

Ben likes Penn State, and they are an excellent school, but their tuition is over $450 per hour. That'd be $54,000 for a bachelor's degree. Unless you have some good financial aid, that's pricey.

Juanes' idea of Excelsior http://www.excelsior.edu is very good provided you take the coursework elsewhere and transfer it in. Otherwise, they me be out of your price range as well. (disclosure: I hold an Excelsior BSc.) -- two other choices for the same type deal are Thomas Edison and Charter Oak State Colleges. All three will transfer in almost 100% of the degree coursework.
