I thought I saw this somewhere in the NSW IR laws but i could never find this again...

No. Company's are legally allowed to pay you monthly.

I pay some of my people weekly and some monthly, so it depends on what your company does.

Company rules or local labor laws govern how salaries are to be paid. It can be forthnightly if agreed upon by the employee and employer.

I think if you agreed to get paid that way then you are stuck getting paid that way.
