MAN UP. I might sound like your dad but I was like you. You know how I conquered my fears. well I looked it straight in the eye and stared. You can stare down anything even a fear

Did you ever go to fairs when you were a kid? I used to when I was a kid. You will get over your fear. How about visit the Worlds and see what it is like, by yourself or with a trusted friend that isn't going to make fun of you at all. Friends shouldn't make fun of you if you are scared, they should try and encourage you instead. People are there to have a GOOD TIME. The whole world won't stalk you. They are doing thier own thing. HAVE some SPOOKY FUN...

Dude, don't be initmidated by some face-character in a costume. You're as safe as mother's milk inside the park.

Like the hall of body parts (or whatever they call it there): They'll put vaseline on all the arms/legs/etc so they'll be too icky to touch.

ANd the chainsaws: From what i can tell, it's just a big ol' Stihl or Husqvarna and I don't think it has the chains. So it's about as scary as a Harley motorbike without the mufflers. lol.

I mean seriously: the blood is fake, the body parts are rubber, the "killers" are actors. So just laugh and enjoy.

As ALfred Hitchcock said, "There is no terror in the bang, only in the anticipation of it."

That's the whole point of a scary amusement park.

Be straight up with your friends about your fear and learn to laugh at yourself. The worst that will happen is that they aren't true friends and will treat you like dirt because of your fear, OR they're going to laugh right along with you and trick you into going on rides and stuff like mine did!

Good Luck!

Keep your bladder empty so you don't wet your pants, and bring aspirin/tylenol/motrin for the headache you get from all the screaming.
